Funny! I just had to do the same with Tigger, my 6-month old brindle mini dachshund who has rolled himself in some absolutely irresistibly scented raccoon poo. He had his first bath and did not particularly enjoy it. Moka, who is now 5 years old, was wiser and knew better. She just looked at him and I think secretly enjoyed that someone else was being tortured!
I might have to use that photo as my screen saver at work . . . damn the cute photo of my own children - it's going to be Carrie's dogs. I'm trying to think of a catching saying in German, but all I am coming up with is, "Scheiße."
Oh my gosh I bought waterless spray shampoo for my minis because they hate baths so much and guess what? Yep, they hate the spray stuff too.
About a month ago I had just bathed both dogs, leashed them and took them out to poo (I'm temporarily in an apt right now). I'm standing there, staring off into space and I feel the leash tug, look down and see Toby rubbing his ears all over someone else's dog crap (thanks for picking that up jerkface).
He got two baths that day with the added ear cleaning bonus!
